SPECIALTY CAMPS

Specialty camps and programs can be held at day or resident camps. These camps offer opportunities to concentrate heavily on certain program areas such as horseback riding, the arts, travel, sports or computers, among others. Specialty camps require specialty camps. In this day and age of specialty camps and specialized programming, exercise caution when comparing camps and programs.

How much time will be spent in the interest area? How much expertise and experience do the staff have in the area of interest? How much time is spent in instruction, in practice or in competition? What other activities are emphasized and offered?
