2008 Certification Courses

Certification authorizes individuals to teach or lead programs and/or activities in specific program areas. Job applicants holding one or more certification(s) can be more attractive to camp employers.  Some camps send their staff to these courses to learn the best methods and practices. All CPR & First Aid classes are listed on either the Wilderness Leadership & First Aid or Water Safety pages.

Certification Schools
Certification Schools offer the opportunity to become certified in more than one activity during a short period of time, usually 1-2 weeks. Many offer room and board. Participants may choose to take one or more of the courses offered during the school. Please contact each school for the dates and rates of specific courses. Courses that take place during a school are not included course listings above.
